* Includes return US/Mexico transfers via road, accommodation (sharing a room with one other person) in hotels or condos, most meals and a NZ$800 per person contribution to house building materials. Single rooms available at additional cost of NZ$600.  We suggest attendees bring an additional US$250 to cover meals and drinks not covered in the trip cost.
** Each attendee needs to organise their own airfare from New Zealand to LAX for this trip as internet fares are much cheaper than negotiated group airfares.  When booking your flights attendees need to ensure that they arrive into Los Angeles Airport no later than Saturday 28 September 2013 at 2.30pm, and depart LAX no earlier than 9.30pm on Monday 7th October 2013.
*** If you stay on longer than Monday 7th October 2013 you will be responsible for all your accomodation and transport arrangements and associated costs including your transfers back to LAX airport.

Mexico Trip Itinerary
We meet you at Los Angeles Airport on Saturday, and transfer by road to Baja, Mexico. After a rest day at the beach, we head out to the slums to meet the families we will be building for. Each home takes 15 people three days to build, and no prior building experience is necessary!

Once the house is completed, we will also visit a local orphanage, throw a party for the kids, and deliver food, toys and clothes to these precious, but very needy children. We'll also celebrate the house dedication by hosting a street fiesta for the neighbors.

In the evenings, we return to our accommodation (hotel or condos) where there is time to explore the street markets and sample local cuisine. We will take a day to enjoy the beautiful Baja Coastline between Rosarito and Calafia before crossing the border back to the US. You also have the option to extend your stay (own cost and arrangements) a few more days to experience the highlights of the US or Mexico.
